Ajimobi means well for Oyo —LG boss
Oyo State governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, has been described as a visionary leader determined to transform the state and restore its lost pace-setter status in the country.
The Caretaker Chairman of Ibadan North West Local Government, Dr Wasiu Olatubosun, made the declaration while evaluating the past five years of Governor Ajimobi administration and congratulating him on his 67th birthday.
Olatubosun said the governor had a clear blueprint on how to turn the state around long before he came to office in 2011, pointing out that to his credit was his strict disposition to work.
“Governor Ajimobi means well for the people of Oyo State and he is determined to continue on the path till the end of his tenure. He is a man who does not believe in playing to the gallery.
“He acts based on his conviction. If this is what opposition plays politics upon, I don’t think there is any apology for that as long as he is doing what will benefit the masses,” he said.
Olatubosun, therefore, urged the public to show understanding on the policies of Oyo State government with a view to enjoy the full dividend of their votes.
On the birthday anniversary of the governor, Olatubosun wished him long live and sound health to serve the people of Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.
