BIG CHALLENGE, BIG BREAKTHROUGH
A friend once shared a story with me of an event on his father's farm. He and his brothers went to farm in the company of their seventy-year-old father. After plugging hard for several hours, it was break time. Everyone gathered under the shade of a tree.
As they were eating and cracking jokes, suddenly the tree snapped and began to fall directly towards where they all sat. Everyone ran in different directions.
It was after the tree landed on the ground that everyone remembered the old man. They ran back searching for the old man but he was not there. The old man also showed up from one corner of the farm.
The lesson is this; we hardly realize how much we can accomplish until we find ourselves in desperate situations.
When you confront a bigger challenge than you have ever faced in life, you are about to secure a breakthrough you have never had before.
When you expect great things, you must attempt great things.
