Chelsea Target Ex-United Player For Shock January Move

Times are desperate for Jose Mourinho and Chelsea, and with desperate times, come desperate measures.
After an underwhelming Summer transfer window, where only former Barcelona winger Pedro was seen as a top quality signing, despite quality defensive reinforcements being required, it is believed Mourinho will dip into the transfer market in January and the prime target that has emerged for the Blues is one their fans know all too well.

Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez made a habit of scoring against Chelsea as a Manchester United player, finding the net eight times against the Blues during his time at Old Trafford. Now, the tables may about to be turned with  The Mirror reporting that the Premier League champions are lining up a shock move for the Mexican striker.
As well as a leaky defence, Mourinho's men have struggled for goals and creativity in general this term, with Diego Costa starved of service due to the poor form of the usually sparkling Eden Hazard and Cesc Fabregas. And, with Radamel Falcao seemingly knackered and never recovering the form that graced his glory days at Atletico Madrid and Porto, Chelsea desperately need a spark from somewhere.
Hernandez, a £7m signing for Bayer Leverkusen in August, has shone since arriving in the Bundesliga, netting 12 times in 19 games so far.
