Roma could finalise a move to sign Tottenham striker Roberto Soldado before the end of January, according to reports in Italy.
Soldado has failed to make any impact at White Hart Lane following his £26m move from Valencia back in August 2013.
The Spanish forward came under fire once again last week following his shocking miss against Burnley in the FA Cup and has only scored one goal in the Premier League this season.
Italian newspaper Leggo is reporting that Roma are making strong
moves to sign the 29-year-old as they are expected to lose influential
striker Mattia Destro - who is being strongly linked with a move to Arsenal.
Roma boss Rudi Garcia does not want to be left short of attacking
options and will be hoping that Soldado will want a change of scenery to
hopefully get his career back on track.
