When I was a very little, my uncle took me to Oniikan Stadium to watch a match between ACB (African Continental Bank) FC and Stationary stores FC. There was this good looking chap in dreadlocks that was stopping every ball and killing all the efforts of Stores FC. Each time he gets the ball the igbo people around me shouts " Keshi gboaya" whatever that means.
That's when I met Stephen Keshi and automatically became his fan. The next time I met him was in a joint in Abuja when Nigeria just won the African cup.
As a football enthusiast, I followed Keshis career and I am so proud that he came to this world and shared his gift to put smile on our faces in the world of football. Teardrops on my phone!
FAREWELL STEPHEN!
