Van Gaal Set To Offer Player A Second Chance At Old Trafford

When Louis Van Gaal made the decision to loan James Wilson to Championship team Brighton and Hove Albion, the Dutchman immediately incurred the frustrated wrath of almost every Manchester United fan on social media.
United, who have misfired all season and who's only two strikers are a 20-year-old Anthony Martial and a woefully out of form Wayne Rooney, could have done with another option up front, especially in their last two games when Rooney has been injured and the subs bench has been devoid of another striking alternative.

Wilson, meanwhile, has hit the ground running at Brighton, notching two goals in two games while United have crashed out of the Champions League and followed that embarrassment up with a tame 2-1 defeat at newly promoted, injury ravaged Bournemouth.

Now, with a disgruntled fanbase turning against him with an accelerating frequency, Van Gaal may appease the United supporters by recalling Wilson in January and giving him a chance in the first team.
