MARCA don't like Barcelona it's fair to say! The Madrid based
paper don't exactly have the Catalan club's best interest at heart and
are a little more swayed towards Real Madrid- it's not like the more
neutral English press. When MARCA aren't busy taking polls about which
player the fans want to see dropped they're taking a dig at Barcelona
and that's exactly what they've done today...
Lionel Messi, you may have heard of him, came off injured very early
into Barcelona's match against Las Palmas yesterday and went to hospital
for the problem with his knee. After the match it was confirmed that
the Argentine had torn the internal collateral ligament of his left knee
and will be out from about six to eight weeks.
The paper made a pun out of 'crack' meaning a top-player in Spanish slang and the fact his ligaments have 'cracked', very harsh!
