Whom Ronaldinho Wanted Rijkaard to Sign

Ronaldinho is unfortunately coming to the end of his incredible career and he will be remembered for his skill, brilliant free kicks and of course, his success.
The Brazilian, who has featured for Paris St Germain, Barcelona, AC Milan and now Queretaro, has played alongside some of the greatest footballers to have ever walked on the planet. And on Friday morning, his greatest ever Champions League XI was revealed.
His lineup included Gianluigi Buffon in goal, John Terry in the middle of his defence and Brazilian teammate Ronaldo up top. Ronaldinho also chose Manchester City midfielder Frank Lampard and claims he told Frank Rijkaard to sign the England midfielder while at Barcelona.
“I told Frank Rijkaard that we (Barcelona) should sign him, but he didn’t want to leave Chelsea. I am sure they would not have let him go, at that time he was one of the greats in Europe. His goal record from midfield was what really impressed me.”
So there you have it, Ronaldinho wanted Frank Lampard.
