Pele Weighs In On The Messi/Ronaldo Debate

While everyone in the World seems to have weighed in on the endless 'Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi?' debate, the man who is most under threat from the pair as being regarded as the greatest of all time has stayed relatively quiet. Then again, when you're trying to rid the world of faltering erections, I suppose worrying about which modern footballer is going to dethrone you is a trivial matter.
Now, though, Pele has had his say on which of the two El Clasico phenomenons is the best, at least at the moment. Speaking to BBC Sportweek, the three time World Cup winner explained why which of the two superstars he thought was the best;
"‘The two best at the moment are obviously Ronaldo and Messi, Which is the best one? Messi has been the best player of the last 10 years."
Despite Ronaldo winning the last two Ballon d'Ors, the Argentina captain's form since the turn of the year suggests he's tired of playing second fiddle to his Los Blancos counterpart and is hell bent on adding the 2015 gong to the four he won consecutively between 2009 and 2012.
