Cristiano Ronaldo, ‘The World's Top Goalscorer’ in 2013 for the IFFHS

Cristiano Ronaldo continues to accumulate awards. On this occasion, the Real Madrid forward received the "The World's Top Goalscorer 2013", awarded by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS). Its vice president, Robert Ley, was in charge of presenting the award to Ronaldo for his 25 goals in European competitions for club and country.

Specifically, Cristiano scored 15 goals for Real Madrid in the Champions League and 10 for Portugal during 2013. Taking all competitions into account, he racked up 69 goals, his best goalscoring return in a calendar year up until now.
