Movie:PHONE SWAP

PHONE SWAP

Welcome to another movie analysis on aistuff blog. Today, am talking about Phone Swap, a Nigeria Movie Produce by Kunle Afolayan.

The Film stars:
Joke Silva
Chief Chika Okpala
Hafiz Oyetoro etc

Kunle Afolanyan happens to be a veteran actor in Nigeria and has succeeded in acting many movies. He has also venture into movie production. His first movie I saw was "ARAROMI RE" an horror movies produced by him while he also star in the movie. Good Capturing, Good Voicing, Interesting Camera Angle, Full of suspense, great set design etc.

However, Phone Swap by Kunle Afolayan took another perspective which has to do with Comic Relief, Amazing Story, Interesting Camera Angle, Better Capturing, Better Voicing with Four (4) Different Language brilliantly used (English, Yoruba, Igbo, (Twi) Ghananian language and Pigeon English) in fact in the places I use better, I should use best cos the movie blow my mind that I don’t get bored watching it over and over again.

I must say here that there are movies and there are home videos. To me movies are meant to be watched just once but home videos are meant to be kept and re-watch over and over again. Therefore, Phone Swap is an interesting home video.

In Phone Swap, all the Actors, Actress, Producer, Editor, etc did a great job.

Phone Swap is about two different people mistakenly swap phones. Not just two (2) different people but two different class of people, The Rich and The Poor.
Funny enough, they both also got on a wrong flight after swapping phone. #LMAOL

The Rich happens to find himself in the house of the poor and must assist the poor in settling dispute while the poor find herself in the house of the rich and must also assist the rich.

The rich mother needed is son to bring his fiance home and the poor father needed is daughter to do likewise.

It’s Complicated I must say that both parent thought they've met with their in-law.

Enough of my gists on the film go get your copy from the movie store. I must request you get the ORIGINAL COPY not pirated copy.

Let’s save Nigeria Movie Industry. The last interview I read about Kunle Afolayan in a newspaper broke my heart. He said "I almost went bankrupt producing the film, no governmental funds to support me after so many request". Hm...

Such thing makes most Nigerians that wants to make classic movie stand down to substantial movie production because you can’t expect someone to produce a classic movie, spending so much money and he could not realise his money only for the person to come out and give a sad smile to the camera about the classic movie he produce that could not makes him aspired to do more.

The Bollywood have succeeded in winning Oscar award and I believe nothing is stopping the Nollywood in doing the same. The Government need to clear the air way for the industry cos the industry is also a large employer of labour.

I love to talk more about Nigeria Movie aside the foreign movie but their production and story line most time has nothing to me except some few ones.

Kindly find your way to get PHONE SWAP and be careful cos its might get stolen I bet you cos your visitors will love to borrow it.

Also watch out for OCTOBER 1st by Kunle Afolayan. He promised is gonna be great as well.

Hope to see you at the premier of the film. The film is titled OCTOBER 1st and will also be premier on October 1st, Nigeria Independence Day. This should send some message to you that we are about see the events that surround Nigeria Independence.
